Guelph Shops is a digital tool that supports small home-grown entrepreneurs located in Guelph, Ontario. The following criteria are used to determine eligibility to be promoted through this site:

• Completed a City of Guelph Employment Survey
• Located in a physical store with public access in Guelph (considered brick and mortar, not home-based)
• Under 50 employees
• Not a franchise (unless the franchise originated in Guelph)
• Must have a business website link (social media is also accepted)
• Must have a business phone number OR business email address
• Fits within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) identified for Guelph Shops approved business categories (classes and lessons, food and drink, retail, services)

The City of Guelph reserves the right to remove any Guelph Shops business listing for businesses not in good standing with the City and/or not in compliance with City standards.
